Default Gettin me a turbo

Hey guys. I haven't been here in a while because I've been doin a lot of Mini stuff, but I'm coming back. Originally I was gona get the C5 swap, but I've decided to get a turbo instead. I'm goin with the Turbonetics kit, which seems to be a fairly complete kit. It comes with MSD Boost Timing Master and a fuel injector controller for the 2 extra injectors. Not to mention I get a free ball bearing upgrade and free shipping. I'm also gona get the Blitz DDT turbo timer. After that I'm not sure what all I'm gona do, but I'll probably end up getting forged internals and upping the boost eventually. I'll keep you guys posted.

What made you change to turbo from a B18C5 swap? Just curious.

I'm not really sure. Turbos are just easier to install I guess. Plus they're cheaper.

I think xcm828 meant the tubo is easier to install than a B18C5 engine swap.

Here is they dyno from a civic with the kit I'm getting. Only difference is he's got a low compression head gasket. Check out the torque at about 4000 rpm.
