Check out the Suspension threads for my strut bar install. I just ordered my cat-back today (Monday May 2nd) and hopefully will have it on and pics on here within a week.

no i dont have the jetta anymore, that car was a bitch... Definite power potential, a blast to drive, but an UNRELIABLE PAIN IN MY ASS! That bastard-mobile maxed out my AAA Towing miles for the year, and cost me about 1200 dollars in two months just to keep it on the road. It was a P.O.S.... so i traded it in for the civic

Nail I3unny i live in detroit i ts got a whole lot uuum interioir is converted to a crx dash and door ack seat is a ford probes, i put a tilt steering wheel front seats racing. all proformance from head back cat hollow, coilo overs, polyuratahne bushings, cold air, lightend to an extrem 3 guys pick up and move no ac power steering no resurevs in it. new radiator with an 20oz overfolow lol 2001 head light and my buddie says he put a 2002 sir rearend or something like that later bro and some more ut lazy just painted engine parte but i i want to grind it off again and buy a powder coat machine later

heh heh, yeah i hear that, i couldnt take it up there anymore, you can only shovel a driveway so many times in one day before you begin to lose your mind. I like it a lot more down here, not a HUGE improvement, but an improvment none the less.

i work pretty much all day saturday, 8-5 and then my other job 5:30- midnight ish. i dont have much experience wrenching, im only 17 but im going to school right now for aviation maintenance. i do know a little bit though, i've been playing out in the barn since i remember helping (ok more observing) fix up old cars. my dad is a dealer for bullydog for turbo diesels so i have some experiece w/ turbo's but not enough to be confident on doing one myself. but definately give me a shout when ya got nothing going on. my cell is (616) 520-5069. dont let the 17 thing fool ya, im not the kind of punk @$$ kid who thinks he is ghetto. im pretty down to earth so just give me call man.

Crook, I am referring to some local hangout/meet type lots. But be warned, around here primered civics with fart cans don't get any respect, especially if they pull into or out of our lot squeeling tires, revving, blaring ****ty music, etc. Not trying to slam you or your car, I'm just making sure you know what people's firsts thoughts are going to be when you guys roll in. Most of these guys are in it for the hobby, and aren't out there trying to prove who's faster than who. So, if you do head out, be respectful to the guy's and the property owners that make these types of meets possible. But if you absolutely have to race, keep it discreet, and far far away from the meeting spot. AIGHT?!? ;):D

do any of u guys know any good honda tuners in the tri city area...someone that has good knowledge on honda's and especially preludes...

i just got my engine swap done. to a H22A...and its the engine swap from HELL. its now running on 3 cylinders at times and 4 when it gets up to speed sometimes...

sigh...need someone with expertise to help me get the car tuned and running up to par.

just run the h22a ecu and make sure you're not throwing any codes. or any mechanic can fix it for you if you can't figure it out.

Anyone know of a good shop in the Metro Detroit Area? lookin to have some work done, possibly an engine swap? Ann Arbor would be fine as well, Oakland County ideal.

It's a BLAST. I've only run my car once stock, and once with my CAI and Cat-back. I can't friggin wait to get out there with it boosted. Not to mention, it'll be nice to have good wheels and rubber, I was running on stock steelies and 50% treaded tires both times.

It is a bit nerve racking at first, but the second you get off the line for the first time, you'll want to run as many times as you can.On my very first run, being juiced with adrenaline managed to wheel hop my car so bad I actually had to stop, and then try first gear again. I think I ran a 19.7 that run :D
