he works for honda as a mechanic, so he did all the labor himself. Never asked how much he had into it but i dont think he had that much into it cause of some of his connections.

Well the 2004 EX has a DOHC vtec i believe a b16 so that should have enough power if you are staying NA. A 2006 SI has a K series engine a K20 (from a civic SI)...

If your deck supports XM or Sirius radio you can get the AUX cable for them and run the av cables to a headphone jack for about $40. I did it my pioneer deck for my ipod.

I dont know how possible it would be without n20 and a turbo on a SOHC. I have seen a crv engine in a 95 hatch that was NA over 300 hp. but thats stilll a swap. It would be a lot more logical to do...

Well you can always find a local importer :). I know of a few in WA if anyone is around this area. And usually the importers arent too into honda stuff so you can get it for not that bad of a price.

you could use your stock struts but the ride would suffer. I would suggest replacing them at the same time, it will save you a lot of time and money in the long run.
