Do u guys de-badge your cars? Thats where u take off all the writing on the trunk, like where it says honda or civic. I did mine and I think it looks WAY better.

I personally like the badging on my car but I'm gonna change out the "H" emblem to the 2002 Red "H". Looks much better. On your car polo, either way looks good

I intend to de-badge my car. And replace the "H" with a Type-R "H".

How do you de-badge a car. I saw it done using masking tape (to avoid damaging your paint) and also with a string-like material.

Can someone post pix of an EK coupe to show the difference b/w badged & de-badged. That way, I'll know for sure if taking off the emblems (xcept "H") is the way to go.

wish i had a pic of mine to show you but i can say it looks alot better. really cleans up the back end. bug and tar remover will get the adhesive off easily without damaging the paint. the only problem might be that the black paint on your car may have faded slightly since 98 leaving a slightly darker civic ex mark on the back. nothing a good wax and buff shouldnt fix

I used dental floss... run it between the emblem and the car body using a saw motion. Then soak the remaining adhesive with goo gone and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then start picking at it with your fingernail. When your done, wax the area and your done. It took me about 30 minutes to do 2 emblems.

good luck
