Default amandadadadadada...

err.. yeah

Anyway, I have a smallish... type suggestion for the site.

It became apparent when I found a brake rotor question planted in the appearance section that we don't have any brakes/rotors type of a forum... So I have a few suggestions to expand the site:

1. Join the tires and suspension forums and change the name to suspension / brakes / tires / wheels

2. Create a forum called ECUs / Electronics for discussion on such products as Hondata, A'PEXI VAFC/SAFC, as well as problems with stock ECU wiring, questions on error codes and so forth.

3. Build a swap forum to break down into years based on civic model changes.

ED-EF - 1991 and older Civics, CRXs
EG - 1992-1995 Civics
EK - 1996-2000 Civics
EP - 2001+ Civics (eventually there will be people trying to swap these)

This would allow for engine swapping questions/problems/trouble shooting for specific cars and would eliminate some of the need for people trying to offer advice to figure out what kind of car the person asking is asking about.

Okay... I don't mean to sound totally dumb... Swap forum? Do you mean you'd like a section for the specific cars? LOL! I can do that... LMK... maybe I'm just not with it today. LOL!

Swap forums are for engine swaps. Say you want to put a B16 into an EG hatch, or a b16 into an EK coupe, etc.

Is that really that popular and common to require a forum section for it? That would go under classifieds as "Swap Meet"...

Swapping motors is the number 1 way to make more power from a former low end Honda model.

It might start off slow, but I believe we're big enough that the forums would grow and grow.

Check out Hondaswap.coms setup for swaps.

http://www.hondaswap.com/forums/index.php?showforum=40

He's got a full subforum dedicated to swaps and just look at the amount of posts they all have with the EG-EK/DC section leading the pack.

Damn... okay... working on it now... great suggestion, thanks! I think I'll make an entire section for it above the Classifieds section...

BTW - I need to talk to you about something, do you know my AOL email? If not, could you drop me a note at Amanda@hondacivicforum.com so I can chat at ya a little... ?
