Default I am new here

This is my first time in the forums. I have a 2002 Civic EX....stock 127 HP. I have been told that the best way to increase my HP is through a cool air intake. Is this true? If so what is a good intake to get? I don't really have a lot of money to spend but I am not looking for poor quality parts. I only want to invest in excellent quality parts. Also...should I stick with the stock engine or should I try to save for a new engine?

for cold air intakes, most people either go with AEM or Injin. welcome to the forum by the way.

I also need some help in the way of exhaust systems. What should I get from the cat back and what should I get in the way of manifolds??? Should I keep my existing cat and just replace the manifolds and stuff from cat back???

definatly Gready evo for cat back...header...there are many DC Sports.ect....you would probably want to keep your cat unless you want to fork up the extra 300 bucks or so for a high flow, but i have heard its not necesary....exaust is and expensive package you may want to go with a good header then the cat back later unless you have the cash right now...

leave the cat alone until afterwards, its not going to give you much when near stock for the price.
