Shifting auto like a manual.

There has been a talk here before about shifting auto's like a 5speed. Well, heres a little vid of my car my friends help me make and here I do a 0-80 run shifting the tranny manually. Also the middle clip, is me accelerating in D, but after having my kickdown cable tightened, all I have to do is let off the gas and the car will shift, I get to pick the rpm. Click on ANDREYS CAR2. btw, first scene is just of Tsudo exhuast. enjoy.

What you need is a "tiptronic" tranny.

I know some of the Preludes have them, not sure if any others did (like Integras or RSXs). It's like having a dual tranny.....atomatic and manual. They're made so that if you drive the car, you can drive it manually, and if your wife/girlfriend wants to drive it, she can drive it like an automatic.

Even most girls can drive tiptronic... it's having three pedals that gets them all confused.

JK. My mom taught me to drive stick back in the day :)

Well, I would love to have a 5speed, but when I bought the car the deal was good, and I never thought that I would mod it like I am now, I was just looking for a daily driver and to keep my 8 mpg truck in barn.

i wouldn't want a tiptronic tranny, its not that i can't shift, its just that my car never came with a 5 speed. But a swap would be too expensive, im turboing this car. next time if i ever buy a civic, 5 speed would be on the top of my list.
