i just recently bought an 04 civic coupe dx, and the first thing i want for my car is a good suspension kit. I would really like to lower it a few inches, without making the ride too bumpy. i have around 500 to spend on this, but i would rather spend a little less. what are my options with this?? and i apolgize, i did read the other posts about this, but i am mechanically challenged and didnt understand much of what you guys were talking about. can anyone help me out with this please?

With 500 dollars, you have a couple of options. You can get springs, which will cost you around $150-$200 (For your car you can get Tein, Progress, Neuspeed, Eibach, H&R, etc.). Or you can get coilovers and keep your stock shocks (Ground Control or Skunk2 coilovers). If you want to lower it a couple inches, you will have to plan on getting new shocks in the future.
