Default Looking for performance muffler..

So I want to get a performance muffler for now and the full exhaust system later on. What companies are good because I saw some Greddy, Bomb, Megan, Apex... These are all under $100 usd and thats in my price range, so which ones are good? Thanks, Dave

I got the Apexi N1, but havent put it on yet (waiting for more exhaust things to come in)

That is an Apexi look-alike muffler, a real Apexi muffler will run about $200

It looked like a look-a-like but do you think its still good to use. I'm not really looking for huge performance to run nos or race on tracks I just want that nice deep sound you get from good mufflers.

if you want that sound, you wont get it from a cheap muffler. save up and get a good cat-back, and most of those companies dont have anything around 100 bucks, so they must be look alikes. a decent cat-back should run 300-600.

Exactly what he says here... if you only have a muffler then its going to sound raspy and thats the "ricer boy exhaust" that alot of people talk about. For good sound and a somewhat reasonable price then you need a cat back exhaust, for the best sound (for alot more money) you need to open it up from the header back... a muffler alone wont get you much power just get you that nasty sound, especially if it's a cheap-o brand
