Skunk2 Shift Knob

Vehicle: 2004 Civic LX (But for any Civic w/a threaded shifter)
Product: Skunk2 Shifter Knob
Vendor: Skunk2 (Purchased at local shop)
Cost: $40
Rating: 10 of 10
Install Time: Just about 45 seconds

To install: It comes with a small nut that you screw on before the shifter... then you twist the shifter until it is as low as possible while being aligned right... then you take a wrench and turn the screw until it fastens itself to the knob and holds it secure and you're done! Should take no longer than 1 minute

I am thinking of painting the red in the shifter to silver so it will match the same as the majority of the interior of the car... I will put paint on a tooth pick and fill it as i go... IT IS VERY HEAVY and they told me it will break an aftermarket shifter unless it is solid aluminum... it helps my shifting be a little more smooth and quiet, the shifter weighs probably 2 pounds!

Tell me how you have your shift boot look so rigid? Mine sags down a little bit and collects dust. Do you have an aftermarket boot?

put a zip tie on the lever below the boot. It holds i tup without being visible
