12"s

i saw some 12" woofers (visonik) that are computer programed, or something like that...i dont think you need an amp for them. any of you tried them? can you hook up 2 together?

i bought a 12" Visonik sum/amp combo... it was pretty cheap, but it hits pretty hard.

Did yours cost like 50 bucks? I'm wanting to get 2 and wire them together.I just wanted to know If it was possible.

I got these too, there 250W RMS and 500w peak right? Mine just came, was $50 too. They're powered subs, so they don't need an amp. To the OP, you can't hook two of these together unless you took the amp off and replaced it with a new one.

Ok i thought they didnt need an amp.
So you just wired the sub to the back of your stereo right?

Without seeing them I'm gonna guess you hook them up just like you hook up an amp...power, ground and RCA's

well there's an amp built in to the back of the box, so you won't need to hook up the sub to the amp, but you still gotta hookup the amp. So RCA's, power, ground, remote turnon.

If you need help, I can take pics of my installation - I just started today.
