well idk wat u already got goin on in regards to stability, but i noticed a lot less "loose" bass if you will, when i securedthe boxto the trunk using 4 "L" shaped brackets.......i dont think removing the plastic stuff will make a noticeable difference for the amount of time u put into the demolishing process lol there is so much stuff that vibrates in the back.....ugh i dont even wanna imagine takin it all off lol

yeah i guess. i mean the worst, is how much the rear shelf rattles and vibrates. i'm thinking of clamping, or screwing it down somehow. thats the worst.

Don't waste money on dynamat, its just for sound dampening, i.e. road noise.

Get a 3 dollar roll of foam insulation, listen to every inch of the car with it cranked, and pack it in the problem areas.

You can also look for loose items, like a jack, tire, tools, and wrap them with bubble wrap or what not, to keep them from absorbing the vibration. The key is to keep every metal touching metal situation to a min..

Foam is an instant fix, and done right, is clean.

Most often, its a trunk or liscense plate that is bad. Listen there first.

lol, try my genious trick, take thick wire tube or plubing tube, or automotive tube (black tube thats about 1/8-1/4 inch thick) and go to your back windshield, take a screw driver. Cut the tube into pieces about 3 inches long take one in each corner, and force them down with the screw driver (pressing them in between the windshield and the plastic back panel) do the same by the rear brake light (or the middle if you dont have that) and viola, at least half of my ratle in the car are gone

also, adjusting the trunk bump stops (two rubber things on the trunk lid area) can cut down on rattle
