Alpine? Fosgate? Boston? HELP!!!
I've been doing some shopping around, and I've noticed that there are quite a few "good" speakers, amps, and subs out there. BUT, which ones are truly the best for the price? I'm not looking to spend a ton of money here, but I want something that kicks azz for the price. I was considering Alpine type R's, Boston Acoustics (the $329 ones), Rockford Fosgate Power series, etc. All of these in the component setup with tweeters and crossovers. Which are the best speakers In this price range?
For subs, what is the best setup there is for something that sounds good but doesn't cost much? I definately don't want sony, but I know there is a fairly inexpensive rockford setup out there... Any help would be great! Also, I was looking at an alpine amp for the speakers and the fosgate amp for the subs.
Any help would be great! Thanks!

Best bang for the buck I would have to give my vote to Kenwood. As for some subs with it some Alpine either type Rs or type Ss would be my choice. For highs the Type Rs are very nice, also I like Pioneer Premier (the yellow coned ones). Im not much of a Boston fan thanks to lots of swapping out blown ones. If you want a better bass amp I would have to step to the rockford.

yeah, def. the infinity kappa perfect for the speakers, but subs for cheap, either the new type R's, or else try some MB Quart...they usually hit pretty hard and low, but idk about how durable they are. Another sub option could be Pheonix Gold, like the Octane series...good power handling for not too high of a price.

You wanna stay around $350? Look at the JL audio components and the Diamond Audio ones.
Both retail at $400 but you can usaully get them for less. My buddy uses the Diamonds in his SQ setup. Very durable and amazing sound reproduction.
