2007 civic with built in navigation plz Help!
I recently bought the 2007 civic and it has the built in navigation. I am tired of the factory sound and was wondering if there was anyway to hook up and amp and subs thru the factory navigation head unit.
ya you can get a 4ch line out convertor and hook up a 4 channel amp and replace the speakers. or just a mono or 2 channelline out convertor to hook up a sub amp and subs.
and if your car has the factory sub and sub controls on the radio, you can hook the line out convertor to the factorysub speaker wire, which will maintain all the factory subwoofer level adjustments.
I know on the ex modelwith the sub, the sub is under the rear deck and theres just a single plug with 2 wires, one of these is positive, the other is negative. It would be best to pull the sub amp audio signal from here with the line out convertor to maintain all the factory radio controls, but a 4 ch line out convertor would need to be pulled from right behind the radio.
