Default 4 channel wiring question

haha this is a stupid question, but if you have subs, and already have a power wiregoing to the battery, do you have to run a whole new power wire to the batter for the 4 channel or can i just run it through the existing wire?

most of the time you would run a big wire such as a 0 guage or 4 guage depending on how much current your amps pull, run that to a distrobution block and have seperate power wires from the distro block go to the amps, but yes you will need to run a second wire for the second amp...

pretty much what they said. you wont have to run a new wire. buy a distribution block that has from 4 gauge to two 8 gauge outlets. also so your headlights wont dim when your bass hits its a good idea to get a cap to help you out. that way it wont drain out your battery...

yah youll prolly just wanna buy a larger guage wire to run to a distro, then cut your existing wire in half and run it to the 2 amps... but make sure you are giving the amps the proper sized wiring...
