is it possible to wire two dual 6hom subs together to make a 4hom load

No, you would need three to get a 4 ohm load. Go to www.precisionautosound.net/subwooferwiring.html.

2 dual 6ohm subs with all voice coils in parallel would be a 1.66ohm load, or put the voice coils in series and run the subs bridged, that would be 6ohms.

A 2hom amp

It doesn't have to be a 3 ohm or 6 ohm amp. Find one that is stable to a 1 ohm load. That is your best bet.

Buzz words- 1 ohm stable and class "D"
