I just bought a 97 Civic EX recently, and I'm not really happy with the radio reception...

My question is, are there any other types of antennas that I can install on my Civic (other than the crappy one that pulls out)...I just bought an HD Radio for the car, but the antenna just isn't cutting it. Reception is just as bad as it was with the factory unit.

If there aren't any other options, I just may replace it with a newer one (considering the coax is probably about 14 years old, and that could be part of the issue).

Any input would be helpful.

 

I've had the same issue. I replaced mine and the piece of junk got bent, slightly pulled out too far, and barely gets any reception. Let me know if you found anything better.

 

having the same problem with mine too just put a new radio in the car and not that good reception any help would be good 98 civic
