so i am in the process of making a carputer, its the tiniest computer i have ever built i must say.......making it fint into a cd changer case in the trunk was fun :P just wondering if anyone else has done this? and what tyep of touch screen did u use?

 

do i have a wibe site for you, i love this site..all these guys do is make carputers, go to the fabrication section to see all there stuff or the show off your project, im actually in the process of selling my old t.v and getting a stand alone and molding it into the square like these guys do, ill have pics up when im done, looks soo clean and stock

yea i am doing a radio relocate for my 6th gen to the cupholder area....then i can fit a 7" monitor in my dobule din console area......i am fittign everything into a cd changer to keep it looking stock and that there is nothing there....i just need to find a decent touch screen now thx for the site man let me know when u get your fab done

 

ive seen them on the web but they dont seem like somethin i would spend my money on it

 

ive been interested in geting one of these....
but i wouldnt want a touch screen just a wireless mouse and thin keyboard... just dont wanna pay that much i figure i coudl just buy a regular computer one of those small HP computers and get it to have a standard yellow rca video feed and just mounting it in the trunk...

 

there not to expensive..alot of the guys make them themselfs but you need to no what your doing, there was a guy selling one on there for $350..i would pick it up if i was in the u.s, it has everything you ever need in a car dvd,mp3,navigation,net
