Default Audio for newbies

For the uninformed...
companies to stay away from when dealing with subs, amps and deaks,

SONY...
LEGACY...
LANZAR...
VOLFENHAG...
PILE...
PYRAMID..
Sony...
BAZOOKA..
LIGHTNING AUDIO..
VISONIK...
Sony...
BOSS...
Bose...
Most MTX...
Any Pioneer but Premier...
Cheeper Rockford- same story as audiobahn
Cheeper Audiobahn- stuff will blow easy and randomly so dont push them.

anything you can find at walmart..
Any amp that says 2000+ watts that costs under 500$...

if you purches any of these your askin for a really crappy system that will not last you long and a world of problems..

there are more out there but i have to go to class so rem and pcu can fill in more...

Xtant??? I had a Xtant 603a in my camaro and it was $1000 for a whole 600 watt amp with 3 channels!

Some of these manufactors are a matter of opinion to stay away from. I have very high faith in Xtant and Audiobahn, have a Audiobahn 155T 1400watt 4CH amp now that was $800.

Bose??? Thats some expensive stuff there and pretty top of the line, especially for home audio.

I do agree with most of the manufactors on your list but not all.

No, Bose is not high end. Its low-end intelligently marketed ****. Walk into a local high-end joint and start preechin Bose... see if you make it out alive.

yea it was about 4 years ago I bought a Xtant 603a. 600 watts, 3 channels, I ran all four of my boston highs and my two boston 10 inch subs and let me tell you something, that sh*t got LOUD!!!! I was highly impressed. Of course I better be after just spending $1000 on one amp. I also bought the amp at Tweeter so that should tell you something because Tweeter doesnt really carry any crap either.

lol dam*it i new i forgot roadmaster

....well i have not had to much experience wth xtant i will admit. but from what i have heard iv not been impresed, but ill take your word for it and take it off the list. however, cheep audiobahn is a deff. no no. you will have a world of pain, and thats from LOTS of audiobahn experience. Same with Bose. Most people think they make amazing home audio(which sucks just as much and is over priced(buy KLH or Cerwin) but Bose car audio is about as quality a custom walmart system.

oh btw this isnt really personal no no companies, these are proven companies that have poor sound quality, lots of problems, are overpriced, or all of the above. most people think that just because they damn thing makes you car sound like a tin can, or that if you buy enough 12's to damage your hearing, its a good thing. NO. that is false. quaity systems come from quality base, and quality sound. once you get that down, then you can work on quantity.

quality 500 watt > crap 2000 watt

hell a quality 200 watt will kill a 2000 watt. Bose doesnt make aftermarket car audio because they are crap. If they did, no stores would sell them, well honest stores that like to sell and be known for quality.

well most of your crap is overrated anyway and most of your quailty stuff is underrated when it comes to wattage on amps
