the two sets i am considering between:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...;rd=1&rd=1

and

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...;rd=1&rd=1

the specs arent the same...ie: audiobanh has a lil over twice the rms wattage (200) as kicker (90), however, kicker is 3-way...which is the better choice?

those kickers will be alot better then those dubs....and no it wont matter if you mix the brands its just some guys preference on here to stick with the same brand.Just make sure you give those kickers a decent amount of power to them...once again anything else just ask. (thats my opinion on the choice BTW)

Audiobahn's look cooler...lol

My opinion...Alpine components and coax speakers own everything...get yourself a set of Type S or R and you will NEVER regret it

+1 on the type S alpine coax's!(I actually have some for sale if you want them.A set of four 6.5") And as a mobile A/V installation tech, I HATE AUDIOBAHN. They're the industry ******. JL and Alpine rule the car stereo world. But kicker isn't a bad investment by any means. They'll last you a lot longer too

on the newer models where they have the tweeter at the corner of the window....do the speakers on the door have tweeters as well? if they are not stocked that way, will it hurt to have a 3-way, or even a 4-way speaker on the door? thanks

All that 220 watt rating on the speakers means is you'll have to go and buy an amp to power them. The alpine's have adjustable tweets built into the center, and run great off a nice head unit.I believe they're 4 ways also
