yeah JL makes great stuff, they are one of my favorite brands... but they will cost a bit more than other brands... you get what you pay for i guess.

I have 1 15" JL W6 in a ported fiber glass box that takes up the space of my spare tire area. I have the amp turned up half way and its still toomuch me. If you lived a little closer to KY I would sell it to you.
Its time for me to downsize back down to my 12" JL W3.

id say go to a stereo shop and listen to what they got.... PERSONALY i like these small name guys that are still making a good name for themselves!
i used to buy all REaudio... BUT they sold out to MMats so thier price just went sky high.... BUT NOW im going to be switching to FIaudio which is a spin off from REaudio that is still great equipment with the cheap price still!
https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraud...iew.shopscript

best part about them is you can BUILD the sub to your needs! special parts for what ever style basshead you car!
ill be buying a loaded 12inch BL for daily as soon as i buy my new highpower alternator next...
but if you cannt make your own boxes id sugest just geting some loaded speakers at your local stereo shop....

but either way you go... make sure yoru equipment is bolted down securely! if they wont sercurly mount the amplifier and box TO THE CAR.... then find a place that will!!!!! cause it only takes a few seconds to pop a trunk reach in and snip a few wires or jerk them off and simply pull the system out of the car and speed off!
plus if its not bolted down your insurnace company will most likely NOT insure it!

kenwood isnt too appealing to me. i bought a full kenwood system for my truck awhile back(2002) and it sounding horrible. Kenwood deck, speakers, amp, subs.

i meant just the subs. i have it hooked up to a fosgate amp and it sounds better and louder than some more powerful systems out there.
