Nintendo 64 rules!, im going to put it in my car along with a PS2 and switch back and forth, a guy at a car show had a n64 hooked up in his car with duck hunt and he had the gun , he had the music up loud so people can hear it as they walk by..you would not believe the attention this guy got!!! people were just swarming his car because he had n64..its original

you can get a screens on e-bay for cheap, about $100, then use just need the power inverter to power the n64 and your set!

Can you help me find a screen on there?

What kind should I get? Head rest? In dash motorized with MP3? Portable one that I can just put in there? One that plugs in to the cigarrette lighter outlet or is connected to the engine?

Keep everything looking clean inside... no one enjoys sitting on wires... your in dash screen is going to cost you alot, so dont be surprised to see a $1000+ with the install... I just dont know where you would put the thing... I think the flip out screens are bulky and cheesy looking but are cheaper than the stationary screens.... BUT the flat screen (non tilting) is like a beacon for theft so I'd say you should tint the crap out of your windows when you're done. Do you have CarToys over where you are? I buy all my stuff from them.

gotta have duck hunt lol.
By far the greates story would be having an officer pull their gun on you because they saw the Duck Hunt gun. Perfect Dark, dual functions for weaponry, slayers and pinball grenades, period.

Geez that cop would feel dumb if he ended up shooting you and find out you were blasting ducks!

Yea, I'd have to end up going with one of the kinds that go where your cd players is, and make sure it also plays MP3 cds so I can still listen to my music. I'd have to get an alarm system if I'm getting this too. And I'd get my windows tinted, but can only get the legal limit.

This is something like what I would want, how much do you think this guy spent on installing this:

I saw this on a car for sale on ebay.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3987754&rd=1,1

You have to realize that the n64 will not be able to fit in there... maybe try to see if the system will fit in the glove box without anything plugged into it... That pioneer setup alone is probably over $1400... the install for the PS2 was all custom so you're looking at maybe a little under half grand for everything put in there... again, if you're wanting the n64 in there you're really gonna have to drop some cash or learn how to mod. Most faces are going to start at $900 bucks...

So this is what you're looking at spending:

99 Civic EX $6200 ish (on craigslist)
Pioneer in dash tv $1000+ (cartoys)
n64 $50 bucks ish (craigslist)
installation $400 ish (tuner shop)
window tint to 35-40% $150-200 (tuner shop)
clifford security system w/glass break and door (installed) $350-400 (cartoys)
the total is going to be about $8200 bucks.. add like 200 or 300 more for "I'm gonna get screwed by someone along the way"

There are alot of people that pretend to actually be looking into these ideal systems so if you're one of those dreamers this is the wake up call. This stuff is not cheap and if you're looking to buy a used car you're probably not looking or simply cant afford, to spend top dollar on getting all this stuff... i apologize if i am wrong. There is always craigslist for better prices and trying to install the stuff yourself along with your dad or friends... or your dad, your friends and your friends' dads...

EDIT: I personally think that if you're seriously saving up for all that stuff you should put it towards college because you'll end up making that much in a month once you get a real career. But that's just wisdom from a recent college grad and married man with an absolutely amazing job. ALL BECAUSE OF COLLEGE!!!

im a junior in college, full ride, still with a job paying less than 8 an hour, have great grades, just cant apply it to getting a job yet.. computer science major. ive been looking everywhere for a civic in that price range, including craigslist, there just isn't one around here for sale. for weeks.

it wouldn't have to be that same set up, i wouldn't spend 1000 on the screen, i'm sure i could find one for less than half of that, even if its a used on on ebay or something. i could install a ps if it would be cheaper, or maybe just wire the n64 to the trunk and keep it in there or something, wouldn't worry about having it custom installed inside my car/glove box.

You're living the dream... 34! If you're computer science you will have ZERO trouble finding a job... except at Intel corp.! You can always look up cartoys.com and find the product number of the screens you like and check em out on ebay! That's what I would do if I was smarter... but i just dont trust ebay for expensive things, who knows how many chinese people have molested it. I think if you did the PS you'll find it alot easier because they already have the proper cords into AV plugs... Keeping everythnig in the trunk keeps it safe, but inconveniencing (correct word to use?) if you want to switch games alot.
