It matches the OEM carpet rather well

I know, I took so long to use it......

I've actually switched subs since then. I didn't carpet the other box because I knew I was was going to get rid of it along with the subs I had at the time. It just took a while for me to find exactly what i wanted lol. I traded for a Fi SSD, and then traded some other audio stuff I had for the E8's in the pics above.

So now I get make a box for the SSD, and I'll carpet that one too. At least that carpet finally getting used

Damn thats a clean trunk suerfly. Thats a very simple and nice set up, i like that. If i ever decide to get subs and an amp or two id do something very simple like you did. Hobo's looks good but thats not enough trunk space for me, granted i have a hatch too so it'd look kinda awkward haha

Thanks Having 8" subs really helped though lol. With a 12, you can't fit the amps on top like that......I tried quite a few places with the 12" (on the side, back, and independently mounted), but this is definitely the cleanest looking.

When/if you want to get a sub/amp, I'd be more than willing to help out with suggestions and designs and such!

Honestly, I would have if the Sundown e8's hadnt just fallen into my lap The are the most musical subs I've heard. Granted I have a good contender sitting in my room (the SSD), but still, these take up less room......and how many people have 8" subs??

The SA-8s are a bit more SPL oriented, but I'm definitely going to try them out eventually and compare them to the e8's.
