Default Civic Specific stereo questions

Hey guys I am new here and new to civics and was hoping you could give me some advice and tips on what works good with the civic and what doesn't.

I am about to throw a pretty decent system in an 03 civic 4dr manual. I am well versed in car stereo stuff, so my questions are more civic specific.

Power - I will be putting 3 amps in the vehicle, 1000x1 for the subs, 200x2 for the fronts, and 140x2 for the rears. Totaling out to 1680w and ~ 150amp. I will be replacing the battery with a kinetic hc1400. Do I need a high output alternator? If so where is a cheap place to get one? I see load boss are availible for 350$ is that decent?

Front door speaker mounting depth - I need to fit speakers that are 2.7" deep, am I going to have a problem? Is there room to bring the speakers forward with a spacer if I need too?

Dynomat - I am looking to cover the whole interior of the civic with 1 layer of mat, 3 layers on the doors, and 2 in the trunk (maybe 3) how much square footage am I going to need?

I probably have more questions but those are all I can think of right now. Thanks for any help you can give.

To get max power out of this amplifier set up....you will need a high output alternator. Maybe a second battery.

Im running a 1k 5channel amp in my hatch with only a 2.5 farad cap .. my lits have never dimmed.. never had any probs.. so unless you plan on running stereo alot with car off and at max volume i dont think ur likely to have a prob.. and 2.7 inches doesnt seem like too much on doors.. i had to trim out my covers a little but wasnt anything big..

Does anyone know what the stock alt does at idle? and what the car draws at idle? I thought I read that the stock is only like an 80a alternator, in which case there is no way i could pull 150a off of it.

I'd be surprised if it was an 80 amp alt in or little cars, I think its a 60 amp. I forget to be honest though. On the plus side Ohio Generator makes a direct rplacement for us that is fairly affordable. I know because I just talked to them not too long ago. Give em a call, it caN't be more than $400 for the new alternator set up.

I did some googling and found out my civics alternator is 70a (who knows if thats at idle or at 2000rpms?). I called the local stereo shop to ask thier advice and they said I could probably get away with just two batteries... Does that sound right to you? A couple of high end kinetik batteries or one good battery and a high power alternator?
