Dear Pcon, Where are you?!
ok, so i'm wiring a basic system today(1000w kenwood amp, 10" sub) in my 98dx canadian hatch. Instead of buying a new wiring kit, which for some reason costs over $100 i ripped the old one out of my MR2. i only have the rca cables, a blue wire for the power control im assuming, and some 12ga speaker wire.
i'm going to buy some stuff tonight after work to finish the job. pretty sure all i need is some 4ga for the power connection, a fuse, and a ground. please tell me if i'm wrong.
Also, i was connecting the things to the back of the head unit so i wouldn't have to mess with it later. got the rca's where they should be. But, when i was looking for the antenna to connect to i was having trouble finding it. i connected it to a blue and white stripped wire, but i'm pretty sure this is incorrect. if anyone has a wiring diagram for the harness it would be greatly appriciated!
thanks!

Yes just get yourself about 17 feet of 4 gauge wire. That should be enough to do power and ground. An AGU fuse holder and a 50 - 80 amp fuse.
You have your remote wire (the blue wire) connected to the correct wire on the head unit. The blue/white is the amp turn on wire. If you connected it to the antenna wire some head units wont supply power to that wire when using sources other then FM/AM radio so your good there.
Good luck with your install.
