Do you think i can get a good sound for $500-600?
I would start early with your wiring. Throw some wires in there and get it "ready" to accept a system. A wiring kit is what, 50 bucks roundabout there anyway.
Then, you can find a nice amp, something that pushes good wattage, and settle on 1 or 2 subs.
1 nice 12" sub with a good amp to power it would be a nice sound, or 2 10's *my preference*
Your not that limited. now 300 might limit you, but there's a world of stuff out there for your price range.

wow stuff is expensive over in the US... $50 for a few wires, go down the DIY shop and buy some thick wire, and some phono cables from an audio shop, tht must be less than $50, also for a good sound consider upgrading your front and rear speakers, especially the front ones which often get neglected or just ripped out. Try get some components if you can... another way to save money, maybe someone you know are selling their old kit, as they are upgrading or whatever.
