50x4 is always the peak power, if you were to have all your channels running at 50 youll end up blowin are your speakers. unless you have them amplified buy an amp which can be a good thing because there are amps that are 50w rms at 4 channels and 75w rms at 2 channels. alpine is the best in my opinion.
