Its not going to help as much as finding what ever is loose and tightening it down. Alot of times it the liscence plate cover and a nice peice of foam tape behind it normally fixes that.
honestly dude....dont waste your money on dynamat. I just had a thread on this entitled "F*** You Dynamat" lol It sucks for how expensive it is and it only eliminates about 50% of rattles I even bought the extreme trunk kit......160 wasted dollars (110 cuz it was open box). Find some cheaper stuff like fatmatt or brown bread. You can get way more for way less....and i think that is the key to stopping trunk rattle....massive amounts of rubber sh*t in your trunk lol
use dynamat you get what you pay for..iv'e used it for years and have had nothing but good results.. prep your surface real well with a wax and grease remover and take your time when your putting it down. use a roller or the handle of a screwdriver to make sure it's bonded well to your surface. iv'e used other mats it the past and they sucked most of them wouldnt stick which is very key to stopping vibrations..
this is just my opinon with what iv'e found works well... i'm sure some people will have some things to say about it

You have to make sure youtr trunk is nice and tight and check the weather stripping on the trunk.
Dynomat and all these other products can help but the first step is to make sure everything is buttoned up correctly first.
Then if you still have the rattles move onto things like dynomat and such.
I have personally never used dynomat but alos never realy had a really powerfull setup. I did have some rattles with my current setup and things like the licesnce plate and the trunk lock helped with the few rattles i had.
