Default First Subs

Ok so i got to thinkin about my first set of subs for my '05 Ex and a friend of mine suggested i get this set >>>

- x2 JL Audio 13.5" W1v2
- Rockford Fosgate Punch 1200W Bridgeable 4-Channel MOSFET Amplifier with Selectable Bass Boost
- Rockford Fosgate 2-Gauge ANL 1500W Car Amp Power/Signal Kit

Im not sure of what to think about all this, sounds pretty good to me. I just want to know what the pro's think haha.

You sure those subs can handle ~600W RMS?

Ok so i didnt get all that exactly. I decided to go with this, i got it at triaders village near Houston so i paid only $425+tax.

- x2 JL Audio 10w1 v2.8 (i think the 8 means 8 ohms)
- JL Audio Monoblock e1200
- A regular 8 gauge wireing kit
- And a box to hold em

Now my friend told me that that amp wouldnt be able to power thoes two subs but the guy there said he had that amp and was bridging it for his 2 subs and it would power it fine. It was all a good deal so i went with it. What do yall tink? Thx guys.

PS: Where is a good spot to put my amp? i was thinkin maby screw it down on top of the sub box...keep it all together..idk...where do yall put em?

W1 wouldent be able to handle that but you could always put your gain down alot, good to have a powerful amp for future upgrades
