has anyone heard anything good about the cali profile amps on crutchfield?

 

It's a touchy subject on this website.

Some hate them, some like them ok, some love them.

I myself have seen a little 600 watter bridged on 2 10" JL's pound in a small car enclosure for about 3 years, never blew a fuse, overheated, nothing.

That being said, some will tell you they are way overrated and suck ballz.

If your on a budget, and get it from crutchfield, you can prolly get a warranty to replace it if something were to go wrong, but I would pick an amp thats slightly more power then what your speakers call for, and go with the warranty. Have it installed by a pro if possible and keep your recipt cause crutch will want it to verify that some bonehead didnt just install it wrong and fry it.

If you have the extra money, you might try to hit best buy and snag a fosgate amp, they overheat alot and are pretty overrated as well, but best buy will install it free and you can take it back with their 3 year service dealio.
