Default help with rattleing!!!!

If You faced 2 12" subs toward the seats and had them like an dinch from the seats would this be okay or do you think that would rattle alot or mess with anything? Cuz I'm thinking about getting 2 12s but I use my trunk , like alot. I keep skateboards and stuff in there all the time, so i wouldn't want the subs facing that way or else they might get ruined by all my stuff... suggestions or help?

it will be fine. you will get better sound though when the sub has plenty of room, so it can utilize that space. my brother used to skateboard and he knocked a chunk in mine, so i know how ya feel.[:@]

Yeah, I just don't want that to happen. I'm thinking I might go get the subs today. But I'm fighting my self on what to buy next for my car.

sound waves get longer as they bounce off objects and sound louder, so having them facing the trunk will give you better results. It would look ghetto but it would help a lot if you could drive around with your back seats folded down. I do and just fold them back up when I have people in the back

Ya I have found that it does not sounds as good having it faced towards the seats.

If you use your trunk alot why not just get 1 12"? sure it won't be as loud, but you will still have good sound, and have room for storage too

my sub is mounted on the normal side of the box, just magnet up (so it hits backwards) and it sounds really good, i dont think it'd rattle stuff too bad

Well I'm getting 2 12's pretty cheap in a box with a amp.(if i decide to get them.) Do you think I could have them faceing the back but maybe protect them somehow from all of the stuff?
