Default help with tail lights!

I just got pulled over tonight bc my tail lights don't light up with my head lights. My brakes and turn signals work fine but no regular tail lights. Has anyone had this problem before?or does anyone have any auggestions.... I really don't wanna have to take it to a shop tomorrow if someone knows or has any ideas. I was thinking it
May be a bulb but I'm not sure which one it would be and my other guess was there's a short some where bu idk qwhere to check

Check whether fuse 19 under the dash is blown. Otherwise, check for a loose (black) ground wire in the rear.

Do the front corner lights light up? If so then the problem is in the trunk, if not the whole circuit is out could be a blown fuse, or the light switch is bad. It's also possible for every bulb to be burnt out, if you haven't checked the bulbs in a long time. Note that if you have an aftermarket radio installed, shorting a certain wire behind the radio can blow the fuse.
