honda civic stock HU and alpine CD changer
OK..this is the picture.... I have bought a 96 HONDA CIVIC EX which has come with stock HU and cd changer and stock speakers. I want to give my system a crispy sound and a moderate bass. What do i need to do in minimum? Change the HU? Change the speakers ? use and amp and sub? (budget is with in $350 total)...........
2nd problem is that I cannot take out the back panel over the rear speakers to change the speakers...........pls can any one tell me what do i have to do to take that out? thankz |
RE: honda civic stock HU and alpine CD changer
The thing with a stock stereo is you'll need an adapter to get it to work with an amp (which i did for a while), but it wont sound as good as swapping the oem head unit. A new head, amp and sub will more than likley go over your budget.
with a sub and amp you wont need to change your stock speakers....unless you want to. you'll need to put your rear seat forward to remove the rear speaker cover. |
RE: honda civic stock HU and alpine CD changer
bro ur goin to need more than 350 for a budget......i can not stress this enough YOU GET WHAT U PAY FOR>.....spend 350 on ur system and its going to suck. headunit wise go for alpine or pioneer. U can try ebay and see where u can go from there. But ur most likely goin to go over budget.
