how do i install glowgauges??
got some glowgauges for my 94 civic hatch, i dont know how to install them and i obviously dont wanna mess anything up, so just wondering what i need to do. please reply asap!
well, i need to know what i need to do to install the gauges and what to hook them up to so they glow. im new at this:-/
also, i had a couple other questions noone responded to. ive got the 1.5 16v motor in my car w/ the header off the 1.6 v-tec motor, and have absolutely no power till 3000 rpm because of this, and i was wondering if putting on the stock header would fix this (it has a full catback exhaust as well). quick reply would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

ok, so you are just wonderin how to wire em up... well most of the time you can hook em up to the fuse box or wire it inline with the cigarette lighter. if you have a volt meter it will be able to tell you what connections are live.
as far as the engin goes, dont really know. i would look up all the info on the engine and mods to it to see if you can find out why they would swap the head. a little bit of reverse problem solving.

Ok.
When applying glow gauges you must be very careful. There is no room for screw ups. Its like heart surgery. You need to have 100% confidence and plenty of time on your hands to do this. Take the two screws out of the bezel and then find the screws to remove the cluster. You also want to carefully remove the plastic sheild over the cluster. Now when you go to install the glow guages, find out if they have enought room in the center so it wont cause a needle to fight it. I had to trim mine a little bit by using an Xacto knife. the needle slightly hung back off of the cirlce (for looks i guess) and I trimmed it enough to where I could slide the faces over the neddle.
DO NOT pull on the needles. They will not come off but if they are forced they wont work. Carefully slide the faces over the gauges and you will be ok. Now just stuff the wiring away and you are set. Take a test drive to see if you havent screwed up your cluster.
P.S. I wired mine to the 12v socket.

^ what he said. They dont use bulbs. I like mine lit all the time so that way when you go into a tunnel they light up or somewhere dark like a parking garage.
Im pretty sure that once mine actually do die out I will be a long time owner of another car.
