How Do You Install Speakers for a 96 CIVIC?
 
OKAY---when I get things done to my car I usually just pay someone to do it, BUT this time Im pretty broke. Anyways, I just bought some new speakers for my civic and Im gonna have to do it myself but I dont know how to put them in!! Please someone help me do the damn thing!!

depends on which speakers you are replacing? the rear ones or the door ones?

Usually, both rear or both door speakers are replaced at the same time..........lol, j/k

well the front ones just pop off the grilles and the screws are right there for the back ones you need to put the seats down and pull up on the rear window tray and it will pop up and slide it foreward you should have access to the speaker from there but make sur the cones on the new speakers don't interfere with the grilles of the window tray. this depends on what type of speakers you are installing. frizz

I just put lightning audio 6x9's and 6.5's in my 97 civic and the back ones took my like 2 hours, it is a real pain in the ass, you have to basically disassemble the whole rear end to get to em, but the sound is worth the stress!!

nah, once you got the mentality down, youll be able to do it in 15 minutes flat.
