Installing aftermarket radio in civic

That whole piece should just pop out. You'll have to go to the store and pick up a bracket. I don't know how to get that big piece out though. And bye the peice i mean the cd player and the thing below it.

You have to go in from underneath the actual radio/ac housing.
Unscrew the screw holding it in (i think there are 3) and then pop it out. Then you have to unscrew the radio from the housing. But yea you do need to get a fit kit check out best buy or somewhere like that. |
I went to a local audio shop, and they claimed that it's super duper hard to install aftermarket radio on 7th gen civic... Is it true? or is he just bluffing so I can buy service from him???

It took me 5 minutes to get everything out, then more time to solder all the wires together. |
