is it possible to swap the wires..because it seems like the lights are backwards they are dimmer when i hit the brakes without the running lights on, and at night the running lights are so bright they cant get any brighter when i hit the brakes?

 

try it and see what happens

 

there are red green and black wires do u suggest which ones to switch

 

black is ground usually but take a multimeter and use that to see what each wire is doing. What was wrong with the stock taillights lol

 

black should be your ground so I wouldnt switch that. Try switching the red and green.

 

i switched the red and the green and everythings working perfectly....thanks a lot for all the help i really appreciate it.
