You know I'm not sure, they were in there when I bought the car...I wired them to the amp back at the harness cause I didn't want to screw with the doors...they sound AMAZING though with decent power going to them, clear and loud crossed over at 120hz.

 

you know i did have mine crossed at 120 but i heard the lower you could go without much distortion the better so im at 90 right now...i dont know if its true or not but thats just what i heard.

 

o ya im sure they do 2000watts UNDERRATED is gonna suck some good juice
thats why i have to upgrade my alternator and 2 brand new batteries..

i always tune my subs by just ear....
and listen to the subs inside the trunk at your highest listening level...... if it sounds harsh turn it down! distortion will kill any sub in a very short time....

 

i would love to have a T2 pushin my subs but then i really would be needin some upgradin...lol.I need double the power of what i have going to my subs right now and that amp would do it...so who you gettin from cause they do cost a couple of big shiny pennies....

oh yes man...sounds nice. i know its going to really sound nice too. i have 2 type r 12's in a slot ported box and love them. and you will be happy you went with that 600w v12 series amp too.goes really good with those 10's.

 

I ended up picking up an Alpine MRV-F345 V12 4 channel amp for next to nothing...actually for repairing about 10 xbox's for a pawn shop. I talked to my buddy who installs at a car audio place here...the same amp i got, some guy got popped for selling coke and pawned for bail. Anyways my buddy just put his system in about 3 weeks before that, so the amp was only 3 weeks old, perfect! They had two MRD-1005's down there two,but my 605 will be fine.

75 watts RMS to the fronts/rears is amazing...and I don't even care if the fronts can't handle it cause if it screws them, that just gives me an excuse to spend the money on some type r components.
