I wonder what out of name brands are good?
Alpine and Kicker amps are expensive for the watts...

Or some other out of name brands? Could it be better to get one new with a warranty than a alpine out of the craigslist used?

 

pyle isnt bad for the price, but there are better out there in the same price range.....alpine and kicker.....pretty much your just paying for the name

 

Im thinkin about trying out hifonics this summer.

with any amplifier you buy.... if it doesnt say RMS POWER OUTPUT then its crap..... peak power and RMS power are 2 totaly different measurements RMS is real power and most PEAK power is some complete BS rating that some one just pulled out there @ss!

i like rockford amplifiers at least my Rockford T10001bd because it COMES with a factory birth sheet, because every amplifier is tested and even says RMS power. my amplifier is only rated at 1K watts but the birth sheet says 1,620watts RMS at 1ohm.... I LOVE IT!

 

with car audio it's like anything else you get what you pay for...... thats just what i've found out over the years
