Navigation - Direct Aftermarket Replacement

The seach yielded no results regarding Navigation - must not be a popular option among Civic owners. Looks like alot of folks asking for help and didn't get much reply. Hope my questionhere don't go in vain too.

Does any know who is the OEM manufacturer of the Honda Nav System is?

For Example. Toyota's OEM manufacturer for their Nav System isFujitsu Tenso if you buy an after market Eclipse Nav System- it simply plugs in to the factory harness.

At work I hooked a 4channel to an 07 Civic Nav unit and it had the same basic harness as the non nav radios there was an extra harness on it that i had never see and just assumed it had the vss wire and the such. In sort it doesnt matter which one you get its the same amount of work.

and are u sure about the Toyota using Eclipse because that wouls be odd, cause for scion they use pioneer and for lexus they use nagamichi

I believe Alpine makes the Navi unit for Honda/Acura.

Also, Fujitsu-10 no longer is the Toyota OEM. Toyota's Denso subsidiary now produces the Toyota/Lexus Navi units.
