Default Need to change Audio Deck, looking for cheap alternative

Hey guys, first civic, first post, how bout it.

Anyways, I just bought a 2003 civic lx four door sedan and it has a factory cd player, fm/am deck in it; no tape. Which stinks, cuz thats how I listen to my ipod, with a tape adapter. All I want/need is a deck that has a tape and a nice/easy am/fm set up, or an easy ipod set up. And eff that ipod radio ish, I don't like it.

I was peepin around best buy online, and didn't see anything too great. Any recommendations?

I have been having good luck with the Alpine CDA-9885 from Crutchfield (http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...85&tp=5684). I first put one in my 2006 Mustang GT, then I installed one in my 1997 Civic EX coupe.

They have good products at good prices. This link is to the cd decks that would fit your needs. I don't know exactly what kind you would want or how much you want to pay, so just look around.

check this out. no need to change out the deck. this will allow you to charge ipod, send audio through deck, and i think it well let you control your ipod with the stereo.

any aftermarket thing that you buy, it will sound three times better than that tape thing. And that tape hissing sound will be gone too

I have a Kenwood with usb and aux port, I hook my ipod up through usb and aux and control it with the cd player remote. Got it for 56 bucks at Best Buy, it was on clearance. Keep checking Best Buy they always need to make room for new merchandise.
