Too bad he didn't want the big bass thing in the back.I was going to suggest my current cheap setup $250. Park in front of Speedway, go get some beer... leave the music on volume 20... rattle the bottles inside the store

Volume 20 is low btw. Usually around 40 is where I play it at.

you could buy an Infinity Basslink powered sub, you can get them used for about $100.

why would you do that? do you think everyone wants to hear your music? are you trying to show off for some reason? i've got a loud stereo as well, but i'm a little more respectful with it. i turn it down at stoplights, residential neighborhoods, business parking lots, etc.

yeah, you may impress some punk kid and get a "wow, that's cool" but you're also irritating the rest of the people around you. ever pulled up somewhere while you're on the phone, or trying to have a conversation.......or even just felt like crap, then you get someone around you bumping their stereo as loud as it will go trying to show off? makes you wanna kidney punch them until they **** blood don't it? now you know how other people fill.

point is, you can have a loud stereo and you can enjoy it....i do. but not everybody around you wants to enjoy it too, be a little more considerate to other people.

to the OP. if all you want is bass all you need is a sub, amp, boxandnecissary wiring. which can be had for your $100 budget. (can't believe i'm actually suggesting this.one of my pet peeves is to hear someone's music and all you hear is rattling metal and distorted highs) don't expect much though. there's an old phrase "you get what you pay for". i've got about $5,000 worth of stuff in my car...i didn't spend that much because it was burning a hole in my pocket. i paid the extra money for quality equipment that will give me several years of quality and will take my abuse.

You could try for some kicker speakers in the back, there gonna cost you more then $100 but you might not even need subs, they got pretty good bass on em for being speakers.

Haha.. I have a 5 speaker setup, and a little sub for my computer speakers. It only puts out 100W and its pretty decent. I'm selling my computer and laptop to build my new computer for college.

http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16836121122 I'm getting those speakers for my new setup. I'm sure they'll rattle my little dormroom my friend and I will share in August. Haha.

Also.. Just get a little 10" sub, and a small amp. Or get a deck with LOUD or something.. My dual in-dash has loud, and it makes a nice difference in sound quality.
