new alarm

Default new alarm

i just got a new alarm and i am trying to figure out what does it mean if you use the shock sensor bypass

The shock sensor senses vibrations due to a break in. I assume that you have the option to turn off (bypass) the shock sensor if you think it will be triggered by a false alarm.

Some alarms have a sensor shunt feature that will disable the sensor that triggered the alarm after three triggers. I had a viper alarm that would do that and it was always the dang shock sensor causing problems.
