Default New amp install in a 2004 Civic

Hi ya'll

I have a 2004 Civic EX Sedan and I'm hoping to install a new sub and amp in, without the need to take it to Cartoys or Bestbuy. What I'm curious about is what is the easiest way to get the dash off, what the best way to run the power lead, remote and RCA from the dash to the trunk are. I've heard to just pop the panels off that are below the doors.

Also, where is the best hole in the firewall to run the power lead from the battery through? Best place in the trunk to ground out to? And what is the voltage load coming from the battery? I assume it's something like 14 volts or more. I only have a 40amp fuse and that barely puts me over 500 watts at 14 volts.

Thanks guys, appreciate the help!

Yep all the panels are held with screws and those pop things.

Just look in the firewall for a rubber grommet that doesn't have anything run through it or run it with all the other wires/

Ground it to a bolt or bare metal. You'll most likely have to scratch the paint off.

Run the power wire and then run the RCAs and remote wire on the opposite side of the car.

You want to run the rca and remote wires as far away from the power wire to avoid interference from the power wire.

on a sub setup you can run the rca, remote, and power down the same side. in case of any noise, the LP filter on the amp will block it out. typically people run RCAs away from power to eliminate this noise possibility, but that is typical for a high pass setup, not lp.
