Default New HID's installed

Even though it's freakin' 29 degrees in Wisconsin right now, I managed to get my new HID's installed.

The easiest part was mounting the passenger's side balast.

The only hard part was finding a place to put the balast on the driver's side. I ended up mounting it to the cruise control cover.

I didn't feel like going and picking up some carriage bolts so I converted the regular bolts to flat "carriage bolts" without the square locking part. That gave clearance to put the cruise control cover back on.

Other than that, I had to take off the one piece headlights the drill out a bigger hole for the bulbs. And, I had to bend the wire that hold the bulb in place so that I would latch.

Well, next on the list is fixing my fog lights, a cf e-brake handle, a CAI (finally), and replacing my tranny.

Sorry, I couldn't get anymore pics because my batteries died due to the cold. They were brand new batteries too!!! Either way, when it warms up I going to have an all out photo shoot for my car. It looks totally different than all the pictures I have up now.

Oh, I got the 6k HIDs btw.

I'm in the Milwaukee area when I'm not at school in Madison. I got these HIDs from Leenix Wholesale. He has a HCF promotion going for 10% off for HCF members. So, they were $189 w/shipping. I'm not sure of the brand though, I'll have to find the box.

ya youll love the HIDs! and the 6Ks are still classy looken to me... and i as well have to get some for my fogs.LOL
tho with my next truck payment i get from this guy is going towards my new amplifier!
so much to get and do....... so little money and time and most important MONEY

i just wish my brothers friend would just pay off my truck and id be ordering everything! rims HIDs stereo upgrades and complete my underbody lighing again....

for my HID ballast on the driver side i wedged it between the powersteering and washer tanks mine fit good thier at least...
id like to see if i can cut the wires from the ballasts and extend them.... that way i can mount them outta the way or both on the passenger side by the intake cause thats got TONS of space thier!

and with it being black it blends in very good.LOL
