i have a 1996 Honda Civic DX, it came w/a JVC aftermarket radio. it also had at the bottom near cup holder a factory CD player, i dont know if the DX model came with one or not, but i removed it bought a single din Boss DVD player to replace the old JVC. the previous owner completely butchered the factory wire plug, he also tried splicing the wire from the cigarette lighter & nearly caught on fire. i dont know why but i spent 1/2 an hr. straightening the wires out before installing the new radio. a few more dollars he could've brought the aftermarket wire connector, an easy install if you ask me. anyway i'm purchasing a single din Equalizer & replace the CD non-working player.

i wanted to get Pyramid 801 but they are the hardest to locate, tried many sites & out of stock. i found 1 Pyramid 705 cd Equalizer. i will post pic once install.

 

Nice, I installed one a couple months ago( some cheap $50 Clarion from Amazon) but I uninstalled it and sold it to a buddy. Now I miss it

 

well i thought i could get the Pyramid 801, but no one has it for sale went on google & went through 4 stores that claimed it was in stock only to tell me out of stock. i ended up getting 1 from ebay, Digital EQ for $40. installed it myself looks & sounds pretty good.
