I have everything hooked up except the power cable i don't know where to put the fuse !!!! And i cant really make it far other wise i'll run out of cable ... Any 7 gen's know a spot to stick it

Just put it withing 18" of the battery. It doesn't have to be mounted anywhere.

 

Why within 18' of the battery? i put it resting on the battery .. but its temporary

 

Well IASCA rules are withing 18" but I usually do it qwithing 6-10"

iasca is a sound comp organaztion. the reason you need to keep it close to the battery is the less distance between the fuse and the battery the less chance you have of a dead short...example... if it's run improperly and close to any sharp edges like hood hinges and doors or through the fire wall without a grommet.that way when you have a short your fuse will blow.. but if your short is between the fuse and the battery you'll have some smoke and fire..not good.

i dont like mounting them on the battery cause if it happens to rattle loose thers a bigger chance of arching the teminals together.
