Parking sensors electromagnetic strip vs conventional
 

My wife keeps crunching the low front end of her bumper here in Mexico and so now I've decided I need to install some kind of aftermarket bumper parking sensors. There seems to be the conventional type available in the states and you drill into the bumper several holes for the sensor installation and then there is the other kind, an electromagnetic metallic tape antennae that is installed on the inside of the bumper. But I do not see it available in the states for some reason, marketed primarily in Europe. Does anyone have experience with either of these two installations and can advise?
