I have a DEH-P3300 I just bought off a friend who upgraded his system. I have wired it in and added a cap, amp and sub. Everything is wired correct I've checked it at least a dozen times. The problem is that the head unit is not recognizing there is a sub or even letting me access the sub on/off option in the Audio button menu. The manual says hit "Audio" untill the sub option come up then up or down to turn it on or off. and thats about the depth of info they offer. I've tried disconnecting the battery to reset the head unit to no avail.

has anyone had this happen or familiar with what I have to do to get the head unit to allow me to turn on/off the sub?????

 

Is the amp getting power? did you wire the remote turn on on the amp?

 

yep and yep. the remote wire is good and the amp is getting over 12v. Im completely stumped on this one.

 

Your simply having an adjustment problem. Re read and follow steps one at a time.
The rear output can be switched to sub out..... have you changed the setting yet?
