Does anyone know the measurements for the front and back speakers? what the dimensions are? I wanted to order and install these: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...ries/TS-G1643R ............. but i'm not sure if they are the right size etc.. just bought the car yesterday and I want a new system.

Also, does anyone know any good links to some car alrams? I know civics are one of the most stolen cars nowadays. Thanks

Honda Civic 96-98 6.5 6x9

Putting in the back speakers is pretty hardcore. The fronts are easy though.

 

6.5 are fronts and 6x9 are the back.

 

you have to custom wire the ones in the back. They come stock with pods for them but there was never any wiring or speakers in them. mine had to get wires run back to them and installed.. its a PITA

 

What are you talking about???? Are you really saying that Honda didn't put speakers in OR run speaker wire to the back speaker pods on 1998 civics?

So you bought your car new, and it didn't come with speakers or speaker wire?
